Recovery Description

Very grateful to an Edinburgh resident who noticed a bike appear in his area, and took the time to check this site. I did not have the frame number, so he questioned me carefully to ascertain if I was really the owner. Some of what I was saying didn’t match, as items had been removed from the bike. However, I had the original invoice, and contacted Edinburgh Cycle Coop who had a record of the bike frame no. Which of course matched the found one. Police recovered the cycle and we collected from the station, one week after it was stolen. Didn’t really expect such a positive result - all thanks to a concerned resident, good record keeping at Edinburgh Cycles, and a great web site! Thank you all!
