Theft Description

Stolen from garage along with various tools. *** UPDATE:  A few weeks later this bike ended up for sale on Gumtree and then on Ebay where it sold for about £1.5k.  I had a wealth of photo and other evidence ( someone on here went to see it and checked the serial number )  proving 100% that it was my bike.  I emailed this info and the address of who was selling it to Lancashire and Merseyside police, days in advance of it being sold, but neither force took any action until after it was sold.  Even then, when Mersey police finally went round after me hounding them with phone calls they didn't go into the house, they only looked at a bike that was outside the address which obviously wasn't my bike. Police were a total waste of time, and at one point I was advised by them to go round myself and ask for it back !!  So this bike is till out there.  What I learned from this is that it's ok to sell stolen goods on Ebay.  There was no option on the advert to report a crime as a member of the public, the police have to do it (but they didn't) so don't waste your time hoping the police will help, they aren't interested. They are probably too busy fighting real crime, like arresting people for offensive posts on social media. I should have taken Lancs police advice and gone round with the boys. Good job Lancs and Mersey police, hope your proud of yourselves.
