Bike Description
It is a Blue Winter Kangaroo Cargo bike. Two children's seats inside. When it was stolen, it had a license plate on the front and back and the number was also etched in the frame of the bike. It was stolen from a house outside of Cambridge City Centre near the train station. When stolen it had a blue child's helmet in it, as well as a pair of red sunglasses. It also had a black rain cover on it that was torn towards the bottom. The cover went over the pod, but not the seat. It had a luggage rack behind the seat and two different locks on it, including one built into the rear wheel of the bike.Theft Description
The bike was parked just outside of our house on Tenison Road in Cambridge. It was double locked and covered with a black rain cover. Because of the weight and how it was locked, we think someone must have lifted it into a van to transport it away. The road is usually really busy, but has been quiet as a result of lockdown.
