Standard bike with basic gearing. Simano clip on pedals. Aero bars fitted. Garmin twist lock holder , with Garmin 500 blue. Both wheels in need of new bearings.Theft Description
Taken from my mums house within a small time frame about 15.15. I think who stole it carried as it has shimano clip on pedal , and they dropped my gloves along the way. I know which direction they went but not the destinationRecovery Description
A keen cyclist policeman saw the bike dumped on the deck outside a shop and recognising it was a valuable bike knew a true cyclist would not do that. So picked it up and took into another shop for safe keeping. A youth did interject and "ask" for it back. But as he was in trainers and the bike was clip on he was asked to prove it. Obviously could not. Policeman had bike taken to the pound. After he logged onto stolen bikes he found me and rang. Once I could prove it was mine I got it back. It needed some love as had gained the odd scratch and a broken gear cable . But strangely the Garmin GPS was still on it , and had tracked itself until the battery died. I was a very happy chap.
