Theft Description

One of 3 bikes stolen from garage in Leicester Forest East on Thursday. I used in on Wednesday evening and put it back in the garage bat around 8pm. Went to clean it on Thursday at around 16:30 to find all 3 bikes gone. I now know how to easy it is to break into a garage. The bikes were in a locked garage but weren't secure inside

Recovery Description

This was put up for sale on ebay. A call to Leicestershire Police got me nowhere and they were unwilling to believe this could be my bike. It was for sale in South Shields. I spoke to John (here) who advised i speak to the local Police force who were very understanding and willing to investigate. I had the frame number and South Shields PC's went and collected the bike. The same seller was also selling my other bike but that was gone by the time the Police arrived. Not one thing was done to the seller or the thief (from whom the seller purchased my bike). Makes you proud to be British. Thanks to Stolen Bikes and John in particular.
