Bike Description

It's small 10-speed bike, frame size is 42 cm, it has a brown Brooks touring saddle with a cut out in the middle of the sitting area. It has a silver Top Peak rack and silver plastic mud guards. Some of the stickers on the framer have partially come off. The handle bars tape is brown faux leather. The black bar end shifters have scuffs and show the silver metal from underneath the paint. The stem and dropped handle bars have 'Condor' written on them. The cable for the rear gears is grey (the others gear cable and brake cables are black).

Theft Description

Bike was locked outside a friend's flat for just around 3 hours (from 7pm). At 10pm I check and it was still there while the neighbour was parking his motorcycle next to it. 10 minutes later when I checked again, it was gone.

Recovery Description

The thief lives locally to where the bike was stolen and he was an opportunist not a professional thief who never sold the bike but used it himself. A neighbour of his saw him riding the bike until one day he saw it dumped outside his flat with rear wheel missing now. It turns out the thief's house got raided by the police recovering lots of stolen goods. The man who took my dumped bike in contacted me after finding my details on this site (stolen-bikes.co.uk)
