I received an email early this morning [19/10/20] from Cash Converters in Bedminster, Bristol. Claiming they had seized the bicycle from an individual. later that day, I contacted the police to update my crime ref# number with this news and was advised that police will recover CCTV footage to assist with their investigation. Later that day. Upon entering the store I was greeted by friendly staff members, who assisted me with retrieving the bicycle. We exchanged some small-talk regarding the concern of seizing the bicycle. I presented a receipt and frame number to confirm I was the rightful owner. Surprisingly! I was informed by staff that the individual was NOT attempting to sell the bicycle. However, the staff in their judgement did a background check and thus the bicycle was recovered.
