Trekking on cross bar professional on front of v and Shimano on back of v. Disused rear reflector bracket on seat post. Topeak rack on back of bike with back light on right hand side. Back light also on seat post. Front light in middle of handle bar. Small blue sticker above word shimano. Rust on wheel rims and spokes. Black ond silver hooter on left handle bar gear shift on right handlebar. 5 gears on back wheel only one cog at pedals.Theft Description
Taken from out the front of Nathan's Famous on corner of Portswood Road and Mayfield Road, Southampton. Owner left it for two minutes to pick up meal for Deliveroo job. When he returned bike was gone.Recovery Description
My son saw his bike locked to some railings together with a mountain bike this morning close to where it was taken last week We called police, my son waited next to the bike for three hours, during which time the thief turned up and unlocked the bikes. My son confronted him, not recommended, and told him it was his bike. The thief then locked both bikes back up and ran away. Eventually the police said said they were not coming. They told him to lock his bike to the railings with his lock and go back later. He returned this evening and thief had moved lock to just secure the other bike and my son was able to unlock his bike and take it. The police were no help at all in the end. We are extremely happy to have the bike back and my son is going to be extra careful in future to make sure the bike is secure before leaving it in future.
