Bike Description

Rose Xeon Team CGF 3000 (carbon fibre shiny) with full Ultegra group set, Continental GP 2000 SII tyres and DT Swiss Spline wheels.  Direct mount brake at the rear.  Other than being a rare bike in general, other distinctive features include a saddle that looks too large and wide considering the general sportiness of the bike, and some damage to the seat post in the form of indented slashes to the carbon where I took a cable lock off too quickly.  The red handlebar tape is relatively new (put on in April 2016) and is non-standard to the bike so again a unique feature.  There is also an oval mark to the carbon tube a few centimetres ahead of the water bottle holder where over the years the bottle has rubbed against the frame.  The saddle has a small rip in the tip of it.  Also was stolen with a Garmin out front holder on the left hand side of the handlebar, though any thieves could easily remove this.  Has an 11-32 cassette at the back, again slightly rarer than most models of this bike.

Theft Description

Bike was left locked up between the first and second floor of the stairway to block of flats.  However, bracket fixing the bikes and bike locks to the wall was completely ripped off and this bike (and my girlfriend's cheaper bike) were stolen.  Must have been a two man job with a van.  I suspect it is workmen who have come into the communal area of the flat, spotted the bikes and then arranged for a friend (or themselves) to come back at a different time to steal them.  The door to the communal area was I think open for a lot of the day with new people moving in (who I do not suspect).
