Bike Description
15" Green Ridgeback Avenida 6 (2017) which I had used 5 times before being stolen, bought from the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative and may still have these stickers on the frame. Brown saddle and handlebars, still incredibly new so no other distinguishing marks. Silver pannier rack on rear wheel.Theft Description
Someone in my tenement left the main door open overnight and that gave the thief enough time to get around my lock. The bike had been fixed to a solid metal gate with an Abus lock. The lock and gate are in tact, which makes me think they may have damaged the bike in order to steal it.Recovery Description
I received an email through stolen bikes that someone had found my bike abandoned, I'm assuming they were disturbed and ditched it. I was still wary when I received the message, stay safe, meet in a public area etc but there are good people out there. I'm so thankful!!
