White male,40's, grey short beard/stubble, 5'5, gaunt junkie, thin, gold square faced ring on wedding finger, blue jeans,grey trainers with brown heel, back shiny hoody with white writing logo down sleeves. Photograph of thief on bike and cctv available. Was taken at 13.27 on a sunny afternoon in a busy location. 2 women walking behind the junkie with his hood up said he was high and suspicious looking. Saw him approach bike at bike lock up outside the Variety Bar on the corner of Sauchihall st and Elmbank st. He then unravelled the lock and went to ride off. Older woman grabbed bike and said he's stealing it, younger woman took photograph of him. He rode off up Sauchihall st towards Charing X on cycle lane, turning right at end of st heading towards Woodlands/ Maryhill area. Police informed,witnesses details taken.
