Theft Description

The bike was transferred from a car to a shed after the owner had been using it at university. Shed was left unlocked briefly (less than an hour) whilst  my son tended his car on the road outside our house.  The shed was then locked and has remained locked until 2 weeks later. On unlocking the shed the bike was not there. We know the bike must have been taken on the same day it was brought home, as I used the lawn mower a few hours later on the same day, and the bike was not in the shed. It has only just been discovered as we went to use the bike today 20th April.   Nobody drove by my son with the bike and there was only a very small window of opportunity to get into the shed to take the bike, before it was locked. There was someone at the front of the property at all times the shed was unlocked. There is no sign of forced entry on the shed padlocks or latches.
