Bike Description

The bicycle is in very good condition.It has the following disctinct charactristics:
   - the breakes are Shimano XT; they used to be SLX.
   - the gears are Shimano XT 1x11 thwy used to be SLX
   -the frame's right hand side on the part that is close to the rear gear spockets has its paint faded/removed due usage
   -the setpost has a "pinhead" setpost sleeve and is secured with a security "pinhead" screw.
   -the stem is also secured by a "pinhead" security screw
   -The "pinhead" screws need a special unique key to undo them available just to me
   - the tyres are Maxxis High-Roller 27.5x2.3
 

Theft Description

The bike was stored to the secure bike shed (combination lock) of my building. The thieves freced the lock and entered.The bike was locked via a ground anchore chain to the floor with Dlocks securing the wheeles to the frame. The frame was locked to another bike. the thives cut the chain and the frame of the other bike to get the Kona with the Dlocks on the wheels. note that the access to the bike shed (four for the whole bulding) is via two sets of doors; almost impossible to get in due to the interpone in the  main door; the thieves had a go to the the other three bike-sheds.
