Bike Description

My bike has only one gear. The bike is a fixed gear custom build. The frame is iceni and it has a hand build fixed wheel on the back. The front wheel is a black "Most". It has two full length silver mud guards front and rear. The bike also has a Rolls Saddle. Both brakes are basic calliper brakes (silver) no markings. Please note, this image is not my bike but the same frame model! My bike does have the same frame and mud guards as this.

Theft Description

The bike was left outside the window of my girlfriends flat at 36B Ashley Terrace, Shandon Area, in Edinburgh. More specifically, the flat is located down a set of stairs next to Craig flower lettings which is on the road (Ashley Terrace) just before the traffic lights. There is a network rail access road which runs underneath these traffic lights on Ashley Terrace and runs parallel to the windows and front door of the flat (36b). In recent times, many people have been seen hopping the fence between the network rail access road and the front of (36b) the flat to gain quick access to the stairs to get back on to Ashley terrace. This may have been how the bike was accessed. The bike was viewable from inside the flat until just after 21:00 when the curtains were pulled shut. When I went out to lock the bike up for the night at around 22:30 the bike had been stolen. From around 23:00 until 23:30 a search of the nearby area including the access road and where it meets the road at the bottom of Harrison Park was made and nothing could be found. The Police have been informed and notified of a local shop's (Margiotta) CCTV, as they may have footage as this is a quiet area at night.
