Bike Description
Black 2009 dawes ace stolen from in front of qmotion spot and fitness centre, Stepney Green, London, E1 4FZ. Unfortunately don't know serial number but some defining features are:- Rear light not working
- Right handlebar missing plastic cap, so rubber grip can be pulled off
- Magnetic latch mechanism is missing magnet near back wheel
- Small rubber circle attached near D on bike frame logo, this is pretty beaten up now as it's been protecting the frame against clashes when the bike gets folded.
- When stolen it had a rear band for the parcel rack. The rubber on these bands was very overstretched and had been wrapped around the parcel shelf.
Theft Description
Stolen between 7:45pm and 9:45pm. Bike was attached with cable lock which was cut through. The location of the gym is within a university courtyard. Publicly accessible, but not visible from the streets, so whoever took it must have known there were bike racks around.
