Recovery Description

I found my bike locked to a gate outside a pub. I wasn't sure what to do and my phone was dead so I waited next to it while my girlfriend went home to charge my phone. After a while, I thought I would run back home grab my lock and lock the bike to the gate to make sure it would stay, but by the time I got back, it was gone. I went inside the pub and asked if they had CCTV cameras positioned. They said they did and checked and found that the person who had the bike arrived with his friends who were still at the pub. They phoned their friend and he explained that he bought the bike for 80 pounds at a secondhand bike shop down the street. We met at the police station fifteen minutes later and he gave me the bike. Really nice guy. As a word of advice, if you're bike is stolen MAKE sure you check local bike shops since even though it is illegal for them to buy a stolen bike, it seems that they still do.
