On Monday 11 May 2020 my electric bike was stolen along with another bike from Morrisons Supermarket, Ferry Road, car park, Edinburgh. I had chained my bicycle at the front of the store, chaining the bicycle at both at the front and back wheel ends securely. I was only in the store for about 10 to 15 minutes. When I came out I immediately noticed that my bike was missing. A woman approached me and asked me if I was looking for my bike. She said a bloke had just a cycled off across the car park on it. She further advised that she had seen him carrying bolt cutters. A member of staff me and asked me if my bike had just been stolen. She told me she had seen who had taken it and that she knew him. The bikes were stolen by two brothers who lived round the corner on “Crew Road”. I immediately phoned the police at 14:00 and reported the theft to an officer.
