Bike Description

My bike has enormous sentimental value to me as it's the first ever bike a dear friend of mine bought for himself when he was a teenager. If you spot it anywhere and could help me get it back, I'd be eternally grateful! It's a teal/dark turquoise Raleigh Ascender men's mountain bike from 1997 with hot pink Charge saddle, grips and pedals, which makes it very distinctive and highly visible. However, it's destickered, i.e. apart from the Raleigh emblem on the head tube it doesn't say "Raleigh Ascender" on it anymore. It's a single speed conversion with black mud guards front and back, and a dynamo front light. (It may also have a dynamo back light but I'm not sure now.) The frame isn't very big and the whole bike quite light. (For reference: My height is 1.73m and I have to put the saddle up as high as it goes in order to ride it so it wouldn't be big enough for anyone over 5 ft 6 or so. My friend's 9yo's bike frame is almost as big as mine.] The first two images below are from a standard bike of this model that I crudely "pinked up" in the relevant places since I only have those little partial ones of my actual bike.

Theft Description

My bicycle was stolen from the communal hallway of the property that contains my rental flat. The house is one of those Victorian town houses on Demesne Road in Whalley Range opposite Alexandra Park that has been converted to contain 5 separate flats. My flat is on the ground floor at the back of the property and I had left the bike just "outside" my door for a couple of weeks while I was using it frequently. Specifically, the bicycle was left in the ground floor hallway of the property leaning against the stairs right in front my flat door. It wasn't chained to anything but I used a combination lock between the back wheel and frame to immobilise it somewhat. Therefore, whoever took it must have carried it out of the building/down the road. The last time I saw the bike for sure was before heading out at 4:45pm on Sunday, 28 July 2019. I also think that it must have been there when I returned that evening around 9:50pm because I would have noticed if it was gone. After that I didn't leave the flat again until 3-4pm on Tuesday, 30 July 2019 when the bike had gone. I spoke to neighbours, etc. but nobody was paying attention to it (as they'd got used to sometimes seeing it there and sometimes not) so I can't narrow down the period during which it was stolen further. So far it doesn't seem to have been listed for sale online but I guess if someone is trying to sell it they may want to take the pink bits off first.   information. The specifics of the bike were as follows: - Raleigh Ascender 1997 in standard teal but destickered (i.e. it doesn't say Raleigh Ascender on it anymore) - single speed conversion - pink Charge saddle, pink grips, pink pedals - dynamo front light - no saddle - front and back black mudguards - I can't find the record of the frame number but the person I bought it from thinks it was stamped NG10 4PA. The lock I used was a sturdy 4 digit combination bike lock. Someone had previously tried to cut through it when It was locked up in the city centre but failed. The combination was 1982.
