Bike Description

The pictures shown are from Evans website and the bike was in good condition so looked the same. There are some things like the pedals, they are DMR V8 pedals, black (off road) no relectors. I had previously installed a Bafang Mid drive electric kit and in order for me to fit it I had to cut off about 3mm from the right hand side of the bottom bracket...this I believe makes the bike one of a kind and easily identifiable. There is also a bit of wear on the frame where the chain ring touched the frame. Other than that the bike was the same as when I bought it. Info from Evans : https://www.evanscycles.com/pinnacle-ramin-1-2017-mountain-bike-EV244137 The Pinnacle Ramin is a 29er that's always delivered a fun ride with all the big-wheel benefits of increased traction, stability over the rough and comfort, whilst still maintaining a playful attitude. Designed by riders with preferences for less racy, more fun-handling bikes the frame is kept compact with short chain stays (435mm actual) and a more rearward-biased riding position than many to increase the technical-terrain handling balance, while remaining a bike that can take on all-day epics with ease. A custom-shimmed 31.6mm seat tube accepts a dropper seat post as well as a 27.2mm rigid post for comfort and a 44mm head tube accepts any fork type. Theft Description

The bike was locked outside TK Maxx, Gallagher Retail Park in a busy area. About 13:45 a young man wearing a baseball cap was seen to take out bolt croppers from a backpack and cut the lock, the person that saw him gave chase and told me of the incident after the theif got away. I didn't think to ask for his details or more details about the person that stole the bike. I spoke to the security guard on site and was told there are no cameras and it's not the first bike to be stolen from there. I did see a suspicious listing on ebay for a bike matching mine but the listing had been removed, I couldn't see any photos and it was being sold from Brighton so maybe just a coinsidence?
