Bike Description
Black and yellow frame with white drop handle bars and a white seat. The security number "UOM 04476" is printed onto the back just belowthe seat. The frame is 51cms. The bike has a white Halfords light on the front as well as a reflective greater Manchester cycle snap band wrapped around one of the front handles. There is also a D lock bracket on inside top of the frame. Actual bike is pictured locked up, the other image is from the internet but is very similar.
Theft Description
The bike was locked up outside my university building, the Arthur Lewis Building, at the uni of Manchester on the pedestrianised Bridgeford Street, between higher Cambridge street and Oxford road. I was inside from 9.30am until 4.50pm so it could have happened any time that day. It was locked up via the front wheel (locked in a rush) and the thief has taken the front quick release wheel off and removed the frame and rear tyre, leaving only the front wheel and bike lock.
