Police have released photos of over 20 bikes they believe have been stolen in burglaries and thefts across the county.

Officers are appealing for the rightful owners to come forward after carrying out a connected warrant in Gloucester last week.

A digital camera and cinema system are also included in the gallery.

If you recognise any of the bikes or other items call police on 101, quoting incident 181 of May 10.

There have been a spate of Stolen Bikes at Gloucester Docks from Biddle & Shipton storage units and inside Pridays MIll. All the bikes stolen are men’s bikes, and ladies bikes are being left. So, obviously thief not interested in selling ladies bikes! All thefts have occurred in first week of January, and some of the bikes are key workers bikes, which is even more despicable! Due to few people being around during lockdwown, opportunistic thieves are using this quiet time to go on a bonanza theft of bikes. So please ensure that you protect your bike on http://www.immobilise.com or http://www.stolen-bikes.com. Plus also check other sites such as http://www.spock.com and Facebook cycle websites to see if your bike is being advertised. Finally, to avoid buying a stolen bike, always ask for the frame number and then look up the frame number on http://www.bikeregister.com plus ask for proof of purchase. As if a bike is being sold much cheaper than its actual value, then be aware, that it could be stolen!
