Bike Description
Men's mountain bike. Bright silver aluminium frame with black detailing. Front suspension. Cable disc brakes. Front and rear gears. Black flat handle bars with "bar ends". Distinctive "off-road" tyres with reflective white lettering (with the words "LONDON" "MARATHON" etc...). Black bottle holder and black/silver stand. When stolen was fitted with a black rear rack and black bag. Also had fitted a traditional (black) bell, cheap rear light and a bracket for front light (these are not in the photo).Theft Description
Bike stolen from outside main entrance to Peterborough Railway Station at about 12:00.Recovery Description
Bike spotted at car boot sale in Peterborough. The person who had the bike said he had bought it at the same car boot a few weeks ealier. After informing them that the bike was stolen and showing them the police report and photos I told them they could either give me my bike back or we can wait for the police. They decided to leave the bike and go.
