Bike Description
The bike was a 2015 vintage Tern Verge S11i folding bike with 20" wheels. This model has an 11-speed Shimano Alfine hub gear and built-in front hub dynamo. My bike was personalised with a black Tern Kanga front rack, a grey and gold SDG Bel Air Saddle with Ti-alloy rails and sliver Shimano PD-M520 SDP (clip-less) pedals. It has cork inserts in the handlebar grips, front and rear black mudguards and a built-in rear rack.
Theft Description
The bike was locked to a rack on the middle floor of the Cambridge Central Stration Cycle Point just before 5pm. On my return at midnight that evening it was gone. It had been locked to to the rack using a Kryptonite New York Sold Secure Gold rated D-lock but the rack had been partially dismantled and the section to which I’d locked my bike had gone, complete with the lock and the bike.
