I locked my white bike outside Canada Water library, on the cycle rack closest to the library entrance, right in front of the doors, and went into the library at around 11am. While I was inside working, some boys with their faces uncovered cut my lock (which they left) and took my bicycle from the racks. Two or more left down Surrey Quays road toward the leisure centre. One cycled off on it east, towards Decathlon and Maritime St, past quite a few security cameras, stopping to remove the chain which had got stuck in the wheel. Some people who saw it happen told me this ‒ I didn't see anything, but I realised when I came to collect it at 1.45pm and found the chain on the ground. The two people who saw it thought it happened around 11.30‒12, specifically around 11.35‒40. The boys had been hanging around there before and playing with someone else's bike seat, taking it out of the bike.
