Theft Description

Bike was locked with a D lock to a street sign post (parking restriction sign). Single male (caught on CCTV) wearing a hooded coat, walked up to the post, stepped up onto the adjacent wall and spent a few moments removing the parking sign. During this time he was disturbed by a couple walking on the other side of the street, so he went into the garden of the house (either to hide or to pretend it was his house). Shortly after, he lifted the bike over the top of the post and cycled it away. The post was left scratched, the sign dumped in the front garden of the property it was next to, the cap of the post was lying in the gutter. CCTV footage supplied by neighbours.
