Bike Description
Buster is a dirty-brown Specialised Hybrid, with a torn saddle and only the front brake (the back one was stolen a few weeks back). The front suspension is broken too, and the right handlebar is not fully secure. He has a second-hand Rohlhof internal geared hub on the back wheel, plus both front and back pannier racks and one on the front handlebars. Also taken was one of my back panniers, a bright red Ortlieb bag, containing tutoring papers, my teaching notes, my external hard drive (containing the PDFs of around 50 teaching books - I use this for work every day), my pencil case full of Muji stationery and a striped shoulder bag given to me by my mother-in-law.Theft Description
I popped into a newsagents on Fonthill Road, N4 for less than a minute to get a drink. My bike was in my sightline, but when I was searching for coins to pay, it must have been taken. I reported the theft almost immediately.
