Theft Description

Before getting onto the plane I registered my special luggage - a big bicycle box with the bike "Rose", other bike-packing and camping equipment. I was made sure that the bike was loaded to airplane in Vilnius and since it was a direct flight, there is only option - it arrived and was unloaded in Gatwick airport. Unfortunately, I have never received it. In order to make it clear from the very beginning, I did work with airport ground handling company, I did fill Property Inventory Form (PIR) and I did work with the airlines I flew. Ground handling company stopped looking for it (at least this is what they said to me) after 5 days, the airlines - after 21 days (this is official terms for luggage to be declared as lost). I have done everything according to preocedures. Because it was lost on the day when I had to start my cycling and camping trip, I was not able to start this trip, had to wait for my luggage and pay for the hotel. Finally I had to cancel this trip at all, thus I have suffered great moral damage as a result of a broken and interrupted vacation.  It was 2,5 meter long and 1,5 meter hight cardboard box, with clear name on it "ROSE", so it is impossible to loose this kind of luggage. And I believe not everything was done to find it. But even police did not look for it after 3 month.</span></strong> </div> </div> </div>
