Bike Description
my bike was a Raleigh Dyna Tech 705 Ti (Titanium), with a Shimano Ultegra STi group set. I had a bike computer on the handlebars and red with black ‘Look’ clip in pedals on the bike. It was in a brown leather style bike bag. The last time I saw my bike was when I checked it in with my suitcase at the Iberia Airlines desk at Tenerife Airport. It was in a brown leather style bike bag. The last time I saw my bike was when I checked it in with my suitcase at the Iberia Airlines desk at Tenerife Airport. The guy who checked my luggage in was English, with a with a London Accent, he gave me a separate ticket receipt for the bike which I had when I departed the plane in Manchester. The bike had not been put on the plane. I went to the Iberia desk at Manchester Airport where a member of staff called Tenerife airport and they said that no bike had been checked in and they had nothing there. The Iberia staff member at Manchester Airport took my details and said they would be in touch as soon as my bike turned up. I never saw my bike again and I never heard from Iberia again. This was many years ago now I think somewhere between 1992-1994, but I just thought it’s worth putting a post up to see if anyone knows anything. Thank you.
