Bike Description
Raleigh Captus electric bike purchased in October 2015. Grey colour. Detachable control panel will be missing from mount on handlebars, as this is in my possession. Black rear cycle rack was fitted as extra and has a split in the frame. Front white and rear red lights attached operated by switch.Theft Description
Bike was stolen from locked staff cycle shed located behind the university estates and security building on De Montfort University in broad daylight and under surveillance of CCTV. Thieves used angle grinder to break the external lock to the shed and to break the D-lock securing the bike to the racks.
