Theft Description

I work in the university of Portsmouth and commute by bike. I locked my bicycle using a D-lock inside a bike shed when I arrived at work in the morning. The door of the shed opens only by scanning pre-activated staff cards. I finished work at 6pm and when I went back to take the bike, it was stolen. There were still 5 bikes in the shed but this one had been stolen presumably because it was electric. The D-lock had been cut.

Recovery Description

Hi Everyone, My ebike has been found. Apparently, it had been abandoned somewhere in Southsea presumably because of battery drainage and a flat tyre. A nice person takes it in and calls police. A lovely policewoman, called me while I was at work (got my number from the crime report) and brought it to me in a police van. Well, there are minor damages but I was extremely happy. Registering the bike in bikeregister.com and stolen-bikes.co.uk and having the frame number helped a lot. Hope you find yours asap. With very best wishes, Jeb
