Bike Description
2015 Men's Hybrid bicycle. In good condition with minor wear - used for daily commuting. Changed pedals and replaced rear wheel - rear has silver spokes and front has black. Large frame size; stickered for heights 5'10"-6'1".Theft Description
The bicycle frame was locked securely with a new model Kryptonite U-lock to a public bike stand on Old Street, west of the Roundabout/Station; outside Co-operative Food and opposite The Masque Haunt pub. I have two witnesses to the fact I securely locked the bicycle to the stand, in much the same way that I do every day. We went to the pub for approximately 1 hr 40 mins, between 6:15pm and 7:50pm, on Sunday 12 November. On returning to the bike stand, the bicycle was gone. The lock showed signs of having been tampered with so my assumption is it was picked, and then re-attached together - it is still working. Otherwise my only other conclusion is that the frame itself was cut through, but this seems pointless as the wheels and other peripheries are not particularly valuable.
