Dark Grey Pinnacle Lithium 1. Blue PINNACLE written down frame and brace bar. Frame is small (still had label with frame size on it) When stolen, bracket for basket on front (yellow bracket in last picture) (leaves scratches in paint around handlebar attachment when removed) When stolen, black Pannier rack at the back. Bike was Locked to fence (seen in pictures) as is always with Kryptonye lock. Fence was sawn in 4 places to get bike off. Car park is secure gated (with code) Second (identical) bike stolen from same car park.Recovery Description
I found my bike myself on Slough Highstreet 7 months after it was taken... Called Police (101) and gave my CRN and they told me to put my own lock on it (to stop the person taking it) and an officer would call me when one was free to help me recover it. Got contacted 3 hours later and they confirmed it. (Checked my reference card for the Frame number) Unable to get someone to cut their lock off that night so said we could do it (with the officers helping) Cut through theirs, but in the time we'd gone to get saws they sliced the tires and damaged my lock. Had to cut through two locks (one our own) to get bike back. Very supportive Thames Valley Police. Tip - make sure you have your frame reference card/online registration and your Crime Reference Number. Speeds it up and makes it easier.
