Stolen from within property. Stepped into the hall to pick up water bottle and someone rode away on it. I chased after him but as I was wearing my cycling shoes I couldn't catch him.Recovery Description
Was contacted by a young chap working for a building company on a redevelopment site in centre of Nottingham . He had found the bike in some cycle lock ups , I think in student acommodation. He contacted the police and they directed him to stolen bikes. He left a message on the site for me to contact him. His father, also working the site, dropped the bike off to me this morning. Hardly a mark on it and it's been missing 2 months tomorrow. All the accessories still on it, Garmin, HRM, lights, pump. Think it was stolen to get home, dumped and not touched again! Don't think the gears had been changed at all. Obviously no one was apprehanded for this. What can I say, miracles do happen! I hope everyone is as lucky as me . A big thank you to the young man who contacted the police . And stolen bikes too.
