Bike Description
Purchased in 2016 from Stonehenge cycles in Salisbury Wiltshire with the cycle to work scheme. It is mainly black with blue trim. I don't seem to be able to find photos. Excellent condition as only ridden to work daily, a commute of only 1.5 miles in total Monday to Friday.Theft Description
About 8.55am I was unable to fit my bicycle into the locked bicycle store as it was too full. So double locked it to a Sheffield Cycle Stand, at the front of the hospital, in front of Butterfield Block where there is a high footfall of people, as large disabled parking area. One lock was £70 in 2016 and as strong as a good D-lock, The best that the shop sold, it was through the frame and the Sheffield cycle stand. The other lock wasn't as strong and went around frame and both wheels and Sheffield Cycle Stand. At 1.15pm when I went to go home the bicycle and locks, were gone. I then doubted myself and wondered if I had put the bicycle in the other shed, so went to check. Apparently it was at least one of three stolen over two days. There is not a very good system for recording stolen bicycles and so we aren't sure, if any visitors or patients also had bicycles stolen in the same time frame. They can't use the locked store. The photo isn't of my bicycle but one that is similar to the one stolen with the blue trim. Mine also had a bicycle attached to the front for easy of carrying things.
