Bike Description
Men's Giant Yukon Bike. Grey/gunmetal grey, with some blue stripes on the frame. TopPeak rear mudguard, small mudguard on frame near front wheel. Front Suspension, disk brakes. Rear LED light under saddle. Yellow security sticker on the frame near the pedals. A small split in the saddle. Black bell on handlebars. The main picture below isn't of my bike but it's what the model / colour looks like. The second picture shows my bike with the rear mudguard and LED light.Theft Description
Bike was locked up in front of TK Maxx in the Reading Gate Retail Park, Reading, RG2 0QG at approximately 4:30pm on Sunday 9th October 2022. The bike was with my partners bike, with both locked to the bike railing using a long cable and D-lock. We were in the shop approximately 45 mins and when we came out my bike had been stolen while my partners was left at the railing. The cable had been cut probably with a cordless hand saw. There is a CCTV camera directly above the railings on the corner of the Tapi Carpets store. I am in the process of trying to contact the security operators to see if the theft was captured on the footage.
