Bike Description

There are a few marks and defining features on this beautiful bike. I’d spot them a mile away. One of the more obvious ones is the seat post -- which is now completely cemented to the frame after rolling across the largest salt flats in the world Salar de Uyuni, in Bolivia.

This Orange Fairlight Faran touring bike recently took me safely on road from eastern Tibet to Mt Everest Base Camp. Its previous owner rode it overland across South America (including the salt flats). It is a wonderful bike and will be missed immensely. I still have hope that it will one day come back to me, however, if its path goes elsewhere, I wish auspicious journeying to whomever is blessed with the Orange One.
