Bike Description
The bike is a 2012/2013 model of the Decathlon B'Twin triban 3. It has a brown leather brooks B17 saddle. A small red light on the seat post. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Original GreenGuard Rigid Road City Tyre Black 700 x 25c. It has TorTec Ultralite Rear Rack Black pannier rack and a Black Altura pannier 20L bag. It also had Shimano PD-M520 Pedals attached. My Grey Bern Watts helmet was in my pannier bag as well. Therefore It's quite uniquely identifiable, unless they decide to take it apart!Theft Description
The bike was stolen sometime after 00:30 from Southern Drive, King's Norton, B30 3PF. The bike was locked to the houses front drain pipe. I had an ABUS D-Lock around the frame and back wheel and another thick ABUS cable lock around the front wheel and frame. They just ripped the pipe off the wall and took the bike. I had been locking it to the lamp post outside, but it was a pain to lift the bike up. I made that rookie error thinking they wouldn't bother since they wouldn't be able to ride it away. I suppose they must have chucked it in a van or had to walk off with it because they would have needed a hefty set of bolt cutters to get through the D-Lock and of course they didn't get through the D-Lock they just ripped the pipe off the wall!
