Bike Description

Our bike is super distinctive. It is bright yellow with 'Dawes' written on the frame. We bought it secondhand and think it is at least 15 years old. Not sure of the model name or number but we have always called it a kiddy back. The frame slopes down at the back and the rear seat post is lower so that a child can ride it. The handlebars are quite scratched from when I somersaulted over an opened car door. There is a control button for the lights on my Lumos bike helmet on the front right handle. We also had a couple of useless bike bells. The seats are faded black and ripped (it didn't have the seat covers in the photograph on it when it was stolen). The mudguards are black but the man who stole it ripped the front one off. He also cut some of the spokes on the front wheel. There is a pannier rack on the back.

Theft Description

At 2.30am this morning our next door neighbur saw a man steal our bright yellow Dawes kiddy back tandem from outside our house in Stockwell. We weren't up in time to stop him. The thief ripped off the front mudguard and threw it into another neighbour's garden; so it only has one at the rear, which is black. He also cut some spokes. He was a white man in his 30s or 40s, wearing blue jeans, grey beanie and olive green down jacket. He smokes roll-ups.
