Bike Description
62cm (XL) Aluminium Frame. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Large 29" wheels with black rims and Schwalbe "Big Apple" balloon tyres. Shimano 8 Speed Nexus hub with grip shifters in the handle bars. Gates Belt drive and cranks, upgraded to CDX belt (blue teeth) and with alu rear sprocket, in contrast to original 2018 model setup that had a black plastic rear sprocket. Front 'chainring' also replaced in 2023. Had a quick release bracket for a Thule childseat support clamped about the seat tube at the time of theft. This probably left some marks on seat tube, just like additional light supports on the handlebars, left of the stem. Note that the photo shows a front mounted child seat, as I didn't have a more recent photo. Also had a little rubber flap at the end of the front mudguard for extra protection. Non-original rear mudguard as broken original had to be replaced.Theft Description
Happened on 22 December between 13:30 and 14:00 at Sainsbury's Portswood, in Southampton. Bike was attached with a lock to the fence where lots of cyclist park and lock their bikes. Thief has cut the lock whilst it was very busy with people doing Christmas shoppings... There's a CCTV camera almost on top where the bike was parked, but Sainsbury's didn't want to cooperate to provide footage or allow me to have a look due to GDPR regulations.
