Bike Description

Bike also has mudguards on Rear red light with built-in movement alarm Bracket near rear wheel for New York Standard D-Lock Stolen from Birmingham University

Theft Description

The bike has a rear red light under the saddle that has a built-in movement alarm. The bike has a bracket near the rear wheel for holding a Kryptonite New York Standard Lock. The bike was stolen on the evening of Thursday 2nd December 2021. It was stolen from a brick bike shed secured with a door with a mechanical keycode lock (which was not broken bike the thief but somehow gained access). This bike shed is attached to one of the Birmingham University's student accommodation (Elgar Court). The bike was secured inside to the bike stand with a New York Gold D-lock via its front wheel. The thief detached the front wheel from the bike (leaving it still locked in-situ) and took the frame with the back wheel. Another bike in the shed was noticed to be missing its front wheel so it's assumed that wheel was taken to put on the front of this stolen bike. So the front wheel of this stolen bike will not match the rear one (which has a fat tyre).
