Bike Description
Large womens Carrera, mountain bike, purchased around 2016 silver, with pink bottle holder bell is so loose on the left, that it spins - a totally unusable and rusted black bike bell. fairly rusty chain smart system built into back tyre (for the gear change purpose - so back tyre clicks as well as front when spun around/revolved) no leather bike seat whatsoever wheel diameter (smaller than some other adult bikes) 600ish diameter original tyres still intact (one completely flattened though) extremely difficult tyre tubes to repair - this would have to have specialise knowledge and tools - otherwise be selling for parts. Minimal cosmetic wear & tear not muddy quite lightweight (same as most ~£200 bikes weigh) looks quite bulky/valuable from a distance, due to being of Carrera make. On Sussex crimewatch there’s been reported to have been a spike in bike related theft this week (start of March 2024). Carrerra bike was taken from newham way car park (with abus bike lock left snapped/ still on the bike rack.). It was at definitely Mon-thurs this week as this bike had been due to go down to Theo community repair cafe in the. Neighbouring village of horam. (am in difficult circumstances at the comment , therefore I, myself, couldn’t get it back from the rack sooner/before this week had entered). opportunist theft of carrera brand - other one of my bikes that’s merely more rust than the Carrerra has just been left.
