Bike Description
The bike was stolen outside of David Lloyd's Stevenage between 12pm and 1:40pm on the 22nd of june. CCTV footage has captured it as being 2 young men who stole the bikes (ages around 17-21)
The bike currently has a bottle cage, black and grey bucklos handlebars, clarks hydraulic brakes front and rear, cane creek headset, giant grips, schwalbe 27.5×2.4 tyres front and rear (rear Hans dampf, front Magic mary)
It has a new external bottom bracket with IXF cranks
In addition to this the rear brake cable is wrapped around the headtube and is really long. The bike also has many scratches by the headtube due to cable rub and by the bottom bracket.
It was stolen alongside a bright blue Cross CRX700 hydbrid bike.
Theft Description
the carrera was locked up to the blue Cross CRX700 and the bike lock was cut. The thief's also cut another bike lock but did not take the 3rd bike. Both the carrera and the Cross CRX700 were stolen outside of the David lloyds located in stevenage. According to CCTV provided by the security by the david lloyds, the individuals were there for around 5-10minutes before cycling off. They are estimated to be around 18-21 years old.
