Bike Description
Our bicycle was stolen Saturday evening from our garage in Wallington. We have informed the police and tried to trace the person selling it, but has been probably sold cheap for a fast transaction. If you see it, can you report it or let us know? It’s a Cannondale Prophet with Avid 5 hydrolic breaks, Rock shox XC/30/TK fork, FOX float, Xram XO rear derailleur, very particular red and black hoses (see pictures). My husband and I were in the garage shortly before the theft, it seems they waited for us to leave to pick the lock. They took that bike and nothing else so, probably they had observed us arriving on it and knew it was valuable. I live in the cul-de-sac of a nice neighbourhood and my garage is at the very end of the road so, we thought it was safe.. we were wrong. The thief posted an add in Facebook market place to sell it within an hour and sold it pretty quickly. We thought we had convinced them we were buyers and were hoping to meet for a purchase but they probably knew it was the owners and sent us to a fake address.
