Theft Description

On my way to work as I work in The Royal London Hospital when two guys in balaclava and bikes with motor (not really a moped, more of black electric bicycle) went past me in the main road then made a U-turn and went straight in the pavement towards me. At the same time,  I was about to say goodbye to my partner who was heading off as well when the two guys suddenly pinned me to the basketball court fence. They cornered me, and asked me to hand in the bike to them. My initial reaction was to resist because of the fight and flight response but he was shouting to hand it over to me because he was carrying something and was about to stab me; his hand in his pocket and about to draw something although I did not see what it was. I did not risk it and handed the bike to them. I was in total shock that time. Luckily my partner was still around with me and he was the one who immediately called the police. The police were quick to respond and we roamed around the area in the hopes of finding the two guys who robbed me. Eventually we gave up because we could not find them. I am in total shock and very much devastated with the incident. I have worked hard for that bike which I bought during the first wave of the Pandemic because we were re-deployed in different London hospitals to help with the The Pandemic; I travel a lot with this bike primarily to go to different hospitals in London (I am a nurse). This bike means so much to me. I feel bad that this is happening. I am just grateful that I am safe and unharmed but still reeling in shock
