Bike Description
Matt Black Brompton M3L Sparticle electric assisted bike. The bike was produced 2013. The front wheel has the electric engine. It has what Brompton call the mid handle bars with gears and a small black bell. on the right handle there is a throttle for regulating the speed. Brompton Black saddle. Mudguards front and back, small wheel on the back mudguard. On the back just above the mudguard there is a attachment for a rear light. (this I unscrewed the same day to change the batteries so only the attachment is on the bike) In the front the bike has an attachment for the bag that hosts the battery. The bike has some wear and scratches. It had a black sticker on the frame saying electricbikesales on it.
Theft Description
I was visiting some friends on Saturday 12th evening and had cycled there. I arrived at 17.30 and locked my bike a black Brompton M3L sparticle onto my friend's bike that was already locked to a dedicated bike parking pole on Queen's drive next to the street. I looked it with a D‒lock and a cable. At 22.30 my friend yells from another room that they are steeling the bikes. He spotted as they were driving away 3 guys all wearing all black and with Balaclavas. 2 on Moped and one on a push bike they went up Queen's drive towards Finsbury Park. He think they used a cordless angle grinder. They cut through the frame of my friends bike to get mine. They didin't cut the lock that must have been taken with the bike.
