Found by police, stripped and dumped a few miles away from where I live. Was taken by police to a garage for pickup, picked up and taken to a scrap yard.

Pure luck. I walked past my bike and it was chained up using the same chain I had with it. The thieves didn't bother changing the combination so I unlocked the bike and took it home. Very lucky.

A lovely local lady happened upon the bike in a thicket whilst walking her dog, checked on sites such as this one and was able to email me and return the bike. She would nit have been able to contact me if it hadn't been for the services on this site...
