Bike Description
The bike had matte black Whyte mudguards made of plastic and a metal matte black pannier rack (Tortec Velocity Hybrid Rear Rack). The front wheel was quick release, but the rear wheel was secured with a pitlock skewer. It also had the D-lock it was locked with mounted on the saddle pole, so there may be marks if it was taken off. There would be scuff marks on the right side of the frame where the lock sometimes knocked against the frame when I locked it up to a bike rack together with the front wheel. If the original tires were left on, the front wheel has a little tear in the turquoise bit, which was repaired from the inside. If the pannier rack was left on, it would have silver shining through at the back because of the way I had to store it at home. Finally, the handle bars are missing one of the original buttons at the end. it was replaced with a black one featuring a white pattern.Theft Description
The bike was locked with frame and front wheel to a pole outside 119 Hamilton Terrace in Maida Vale for just one night. Thieves lifted the entire bike and lock over the pole once they had removed two signposts.
