Bike Description
A black-coloured mens Scott Speedster roadbike with drop handlebars and front and rear disk breaks. Large frame size. Gold writing (Scott in capital letters) on the down tube between the bottom bracket and head tube. Gold/yellow-coloured strip along the circumference of each tire. Two orange plastic reflector strips on each wheel attached to spokes. Gold/brown coloured leather seat. No quick-release components. Bike in near brand-new condition, having been very recently cleaned of all mud and city grime. No distinugishing blemishes or scratches with exception of possible white marks on the outer edge of each of the handlebars (white paint from storage in house)Theft Description
Locked to another road bike at a set of bike racks immediately left of the southernmost entrance to London Fields Park on Landsdowne Drive (which leads on to Broadway Market). Cycle rack is the closest to the railings on the left of the park entrance, just in front of the pedestrian crossing on Landsdowne Drive. Closest businesses/establishments are The Cat and Mutton (pub on corner of Westgate Street and Broadway Market road) and Sultan Food and Wine which backs directly on to Landsdowne Dr. Theft (of both cycles) took place some time between 19:35 and 22:15 on 18th May 2022. Likely to have been witnesses e.g., pedestrians and other cyclists at the park entrance as well as clientele of local establishments.
