Bike Description

2011 Specialized Tricross Sport 61cm in Silver and Black

In excellent condition the bike is a standard bike fitted with full Tiagra 10 speed, it looks almost new as I take care of my bikes but it has been slightly modified:

·         CXP 22 rims with black spokes and red spoke nipples on the front and back.  The rear rim has one silver spoke to replace a broken spoke. ·         Tyres are Speacialized Armadillo 700x28C so smaller than the standard tyres that come with the bike. ·         It has aftermarket mud guards fitted on the front with rubber ties but conventionally fitted at the back.   The rear mudguard has a slightly unusual looking reflector fitted it is rectangular and you can tell it was not fitted to the mudguard as standard. ·         The handlebars have a single rear additional brake lever fitted in the middle on the left hand side.
  • New Shimano A530 SPD Touring Clipless Pedals
·         FSR plastic protector fitted to protect the frame from chain slap ·         Trek Bottle cage ·         Union Jack sticker on the lower frame…easily removed but the thieving scum might not bother to remove it.

Theft Description

Stolen from bike stand in Cavaye Place SW6 between 1545 and 1750 on 18-06-16.  The thieves cut two locks and stole the bike from the rack.  This was unlikely to be a chance theft as the thieves were organised and went prepared to cut locks.  I strongly suspect that they had previously identified my bike or been tipped off by one of the Deliveroo drivers who have been frequenting the locale for the last few months.  I left my bike here three or four times a week for six years and two weeks ago a Deliveroo driver took an unhealthy interest in it and I failed to respond to the enhanced threat of theft that his interest carried. Anyone who has any knowledge of this bike or sees a Deliveroo rider on a 61cm Tricross, that is far to good a bike to be used for such a purpose, please let me know.  I would go as far to offer a reward for the recovery of the bike and preferably for the conviction or other punishment of the thief.  I will add photographs but I regret that they will only show the bike before I made most of the modifications listed above.
