Bike Description
The bike is majority black but has some reflective dark purple details on the inside of the forks and on the inside of the rear of the bike. The bike has rubberised 'horn' handle bars (flat handle bars with L shape grips) which is rare for a Sirrus. Additionally, the wheels have lock nuts which require a specialist key to take off. The bike had velcro-based mud guards but the front mud guard was missing (but the velcro strips were still attached). The wheels had a reflective strip round the outside, but this strip was beginning to peel.Theft Description
The bike was located at the back of Summit House in a gated area. It was locked to the bike rack with a D-Lock, however the d-lock was still there. This would indicate the spokes were cut. There is CCTV both in and out as well as aimed toward the bike rack which the police are currently following up. The only people who can access the property are residents of Summit House or employees of brickworks. Access requires a code (for on foot access) or a speicific wireless key for gated entrance. Other bikes are missing wheels indicating that this isn't rare, however it has only been in the last 2 months that the gates have been continuously closed. This would mean that the person/s who stole had access either via someone in Summit House or via the Brickworks entrance (via a code or key).
